About the job
As Product Specialist Robotics one key responsibility is to lead the Competitive Intelligence agenda for Husqvarna’s robotics lawn mower category. The purpose is to make sure we track and are fully aware of competitor activities across all markets in order for us to maintain our technology leadership. The responsibility includes the complete Competitive Intelligence scope – everything from being the internal expert and point-of-contact for competitive information to planning and leading the annual field testing and benchmarking of products. As part of the job you will maintain and monitor competitor information and activities across all markets and communicate and report information across the organization – both within the product management team, to senior management and sales companies across the world as well as to other key stakeholders in the organization.
Another main responsibility is to lead the aftersales agenda for the robotics category. The purpose is to ensure we capture the dealer perspective in all things we do and make sure we have our dealers top-of-mind in the team. The responsibility is wide and ranges from developing high-quality, technical product support material and making sure that our products always have a high level of serviceability to leading technical product trainings to dealers.
What will you do?
You will be working closely with the rest of the Robotics Product Management team and with the Product Quality function, Robotics R&D, Sales, and central aftersales on topics such as:
- Develop technical training material for Sales and dealers
- Visit dealers and markets to understand their needs and requirements
- Development of the market and user requirements for new product development projects
- Support quality improvement and product improvement initiatives
- Support and coordinate the development of how-to videos and technical support material
- Represent the product management team in project meetings and be the voice of the dealer in projects
Finally, as Product Specialist Robotics you will also be the robotics team’s product expert supporting the organization with you product knowledge and be the go-to-person for general product related questions and tasks. You will lead and manage training on the robotics product portfolio internally in the organization as well as for externally to dealers and other external partners.
The product management team is expected to support a wide variety of tasks within the Husqvarna division, which means that you also need to be agile and able to adapt and overcome complex and challenging tasks outside of the normal standard processes and daily tasks.
- Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in engineering with good technical skills
- Excellent communication & presentation skills
- Good knowledge in the MS office package (Excel & PowerPoint)
- Experience of project management or other relevant work experience with cross-functional responsibilities is a merit
- Fluent English both orally and in writing is required for the position

The position is based in Huskvarna, Sweden, and includes travel mainly in Europe of approximately 20-30 days/year.
