About the role
As a Software Developer at Devyser, you play a key role in designing, implementing, and maintaining both front-end and back-end components of our software that supports health care professionals to improve patient outcomes. You belong to a team of developers and bioinformaticians, and work cross functionally to create intuitive and user-friendly applications tailored for the medical field. Devyser’s software is IVDR certified and classed as a medical device.
Your duties in the role include but are not limited to:
- Participate in the full software development lifecycle, from initial design through production rollout and ongoing support.
- Develop and maintain both front-end user interfaces and backend logic for WPF-based software
- Collaborate cross functionaly to test and validate application to ensure quality compliance
- Design and implement software solutions that enhance data analysis, visualization, and overall user experience
- Analyze existing systems and functionalities to identify areas for improvement and implement new features across both UI and backend
- Troubleshoot production issues, perform performance profiling, and optimize both front-end and backend code to enhance application efficiency

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- Experience as a C#/.Net developer with a focus on both UI and backend development
- Experience with WPF, including XAML for UI and backend development
- Proficiency in MVVM and other design patterns for structuring scalable and maintainable code
- Experience using version control software, such as GIT
This is a temporary 1 year position to cover for a parental leave.
